In de performance “Textum” gebruikt Sanne DW ‘constitutionele’ materialen zoals gips, draden, textiel en moedermelk. Een gipsen beeld wordt beschouwd als een halffabricaat, een stap in de richting van een beeld dat als voltooid kan worden beschouwd. Draden worden gebruikt voor het weven van stof en textiel, het levert grotere verbanden. Moedermelk voor de opbouw van het lichaam van het kind, maar ook als bron van caseïne, caseïne dat met calcium de samenstellende delen van onze botten vormt. Calcium is dan weer het hoofdbestanddeel van gips. “Ik beschouw deze materialen als ‘constitutioneel’ omdat ze essentieel zijn in de opbouw van iets.” Door het performatieve gebruik en de rituele toe-eigening van materialen en (sub)symbolen ontsnappen deze echter aan hun oorspronkelijke invulling en laten zo een meer ‘bevrijd’ gebruik toe.

In the performance "Textum" Sanne DW used "constitutional" materials such as plaster, threath, textiles and milk. A plaster sculpture is regarded as an intermediate product, a step in the direction of a sculpture that can be considered to be completed. Threats are used for weaving fabrics and textile, it brings larger contexts. Breast milk as a base for the structure of the body of the child, but also as a source of casein, casein calcium forms the constituent parts of our bones. Calcium is again the main component of plaster. "I consider these materials as 'constitutional' because they are essential in building something."Through the performative use and ritual appropriation of materials and (sub) symbols these are loosing their original interpretation and allow a more 'liberated' usage.The performance TEXTUM made the audience go in dialogue based on characters, semiotic signs and sound signals.
